Wedding at Capital City Club

03/10/2012 | Weddings

When we photographed one of our very first Atlanta weddings back in 2007 at the Capital City Club Brookhaven, we learned how beautiful and relaxing the atmosphere of a wedding can be just minutes off the busy Buckhead streets. As we met with Caroline and her parents to discuss their vision of her wedding at the Capital City Club, we got really enthusiastic about working at such a wonderful place again.

On the wedding day, we started at the clubhouse where Caroline and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Caroline and Dan decided to meet for their wedding portraits before the ceremony and use the exquisitely decorated clubhouse interiors. The wedding ceremony was held inside Kellett Chapel at Peachtree Presbyterian Church on Roswell Road in Atlanta, and then everybody returned to Capital City Club for an elaborate wedding reception. Caroline, Dan, and their wedding party took a trolley.

Even though the wedding took place in early March, it was a beautiful, warm, and sunny day; everybody enjoyed overlooking the golf course from large windows while sipping a glass of their favorite beverage.
